Ginny grew up in Rockland County, and began studying music when she was 6 years old. She started on the violin, but soon grew to love the piano and viola as well. During her training, Ginny performed in multiple ensembles throughout the tri-state area. When it became time to choose what to study in college, she knew that her studies had to focus on music. Ginny recently graduated from Manhattanville College where she studied music performance and psychology. During her time at Manhattanville, she won multiple awards for excellence in music theory and music history, as well as the Sr. Josephine Morgan Prize for All Around Excellence. Ginny will be pursuing her master’s degree in music history. Ginny began giving lessons during high school, and has continued giving lessons ever since. She loves being able to share her love of music with students of all ages and levels of ability.
