Taiwanese soprano Hsin- Mei Tracy Chang had won many competitions in Taiwan before she came to the States in 2011; among those are National Taiwan Culture Cup Competition, New Art Musician Competition, Ty-Zan Hsiao Art Song Competition, and National Taiwan Normal University Concerto Competition. She is also the scholarship recipient of the Rotary Club of Taipei, South Sea Club, Chi-Mei Art Foundation and a young-artist member of Association of Vocal artist of R.O.C. Chang was a winner of the Friends of Eastman Opera competition in 2011. Graduated from the Eastman School of Music with a master degree, she sang the role of Angelica in Handel’s Orlando. She was the featured soloist with the Repertory singers and ERC singing Haydn B flat Mass and Schumann Faust. She also performed Messiah with Rochester Chamber Orchestra in 2012. She was a young artist at Caramoor Summer Music Festival in 2013, singing the role of Thibault in Don Carlos. Chang was a participant of The Song Continues at Carnegie Hall, performed at Christa Ludwig’s master class. In 2014, Ms. Chang returned to the Caramoor Summer Music Festival to sing the role Countess and cover Gilda in Rigoletto. Currently, she is pursuing her doctoral degree at City University of New York, studying with Professor Rita Shane.

Ms.Hsin- Mei Tracy Chang has joined the faculty of the Piano School in 2014
