Ms. Chang began her musical training at age 5 and received classical music education from well-known institutions with intensive training specialized in performing arts, ear training, sight reading and theory. Her most recent degrees include master in music from the prestigious Eastman School of Music (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eastman_School_of_Music) and currently pursuing her doctor degree in musical arts at City University of New York with full scholarship. Started as a piano major, Chang won several piano competitions during her studies at school while minoring in flute. Fascinated by the vocal performing arts, she began to study voice and earned a bachelor degree in vocal performance. Her operatic highlights including:
–    Sung the role Mimi from La Boheme at Aspen Music Festival
–    A participant of The Song Continues at Carnegie Hall
–    Sung various roles at Caramoor International Music Festival
–    Gave solo recital at Bogota Music Festival
–    Winner of Friends of Eastman Opera (adjudicator: Lenore Rosenberg from The Met Opera, NYC)

Along with classical music, Chang has passion for a broad spectrum of music. She was a radio show hostess at Far East Radio Station (2009-2011), adjudicator at pop singing competitions, backed up singer collaborated with various Asian pop stars, and also the winner of Golden Melody in 2011 (duet category with her sister- Jenny). Currently, she is the vocalist at The Sound of Light.
With her expensive understanding of music, Chang has various approaches when comes to teaching music. Her keen vision for the music learning process, passion for music education,  pleasant teaching style with discipline and her bright and warm personality have inspired her students to enjoy music and spread their joy and passion to their families and many others.
