E. Jean Bush is a consultant, professional advisor, and resource for public agencies and mission-driven organizations in the social-sector. She resides in Dallas, TX and is an avid lifelong learner holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice, Master’s in Public Administration and currently pursuing Doctor of Education in Performance Improvement Leadership (EdD).
Her professional experience spans two decades in Dallas and nationally. Early in her career she worked in the investment sector for a Fortune 500 Company acquiring experience in financial management, corporate partnerships, highwealth management, and talent development. That eventually led to the launch of a consulting firm with specialization in funding development, government contracting, and workforce development services for public agencies. Soon afterward, her expanding expertise lead to helping leaders in the social sector strengthen their ability to deliver a robust mission by advising in development of strategies that help to scale impact, advance philanthropic support, build sustainability, and optimize external relationships.
Jean’s track-record includes leadership in three of the largest non-profits in the nation including, Chuck Colson’s organization –Prison Fellowship Ministry (PFM), American Red Cross, and Boys and Girls Clubs of America. During the time as a national leader with PFM, her innovative vision resulted in the design and management of a national campaign for reintegrating released offenders into the workforce in urban centers. Her work has been acclaimed and gained recognition from the American Corrections Association, Department of Corrections and Department of Labor in various states, the White House Office of Faith-based and Neighborhood Partnerships, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, U.S. Department of Labor, Dallas County Workforce Solutions, and Baylor University Research Institute.
Outside of professional interests she enjoys jogging, baking, reading, Western cinema, volunteering with American Red Cross, traveling, and time with family and friends
