Adam Ali was born in 1995 in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. He first studied the piano at the age of six with his grandmother, Lalan Parott. After five years, Adam entered the Prep Division of Mannes College, joining the studio of Irina Edelman. At the same time, he attended Fiorello H. LaGuardia School of the Arts, and graduated from both schools with honors. In 2013, Adam enrolled at the Aaron Copland School of Music, studying with Donald Pirone.
Adam has performed extensively in solo recitals and as a chamber musician. In 2013, he played in Alice Tully Hall in the Chamber Music Society’s Young Musicians Concert. He has also played in various masterclasses, including those given by Hugo Goldenzweig, Adam Kent, and Eteri Andjaperidze. In 2015, he attended the International Keyboard Institute and Festival during their first summer at Hunter College. In Feburary 2016, he performed Schumann’s Piano Concerto op. 54 with the Queens College Symphony Orchestra.
